چکیده

Ecosystems worldwide face a serious and life-threatening water crisis due to contamination. Nanotechnology offers promising solution this issue by providing methods for removing pollutants from aquatic sources. In study, we utilized green simple approach biosynthesize NiSe NPs using Hibiscus rosa-sinensis extract as the bio-source. The plant acts reducing, stabilizing, capping agent in synthesis process. A hydrothermal method was employed blend photocatalysts. UV-Visible DRS spectroscopy confirm reduction stabilization of Ni2+ Se2− ions. resulting have bandgap 1.74 eV, which facilitates electron hole production on their surfaces. To characterize functional groups surface interactions with bio-compounds, FTIR utilized. XRD analysis revealed crystallite size be 24 nm, while FE-SEM TEM imaging showed spherical shape material distribution. EDX confirmed integrity NPs’ material. XPS provided information chemical composition, nickel selenium valency, interface. efficacy blended photocatalyst photodegrading Methylene Blue (MB) dye tested under visible light, 92% degradation. Furthermore, exhibited bactericidal activity against Escherichia coli Staphylococcus aureus bacteria advanced oxidation charge particles, increased degradation efficiency suppressed cell proliferation. Based obtained findings, show promise powerful remediation microbial resistance.
